What We Do

We have an inventory of over 400 different medications that our providers can prescribe from. These range from common over the counter meds such as Ibuprofen to prescription drugs such as Metformin and Lisinopril. Besides medications, our pharmacy also provides free tampons, pads, and condoms to the community. On our trips we bring along volunteer pharmacists and/or pharmacy students from the UCSD Skaggs School of Pharmacy to provide patient consult with the medications they will be starting or continuing as a part of their treatment. Volunteering in the pharmacy has proven to be a very informative learning experience for our volunteers as they are exposed to different medications and their purpose.
